Getting to know you....

So, here we go. I have never written a blog before but these are crazy times so I am embracing the crazy and hopefully injecting a little fun, guidance and support to those that follow The Faleaway Cafe.

So first off hello to you all and thank you for stopping by whether you are old or new to The Fakeaway Cafe.

Some of you already know who we are and what we do but for those that don't well my name is Barbara and I am now into the 6th year of running The Fakeaway Cafe. Many things have changed in that time. We started with hot delivered meals but quickly found the need for convenient frozen meals far exceeded the need for hot so we completely changed how we did things.

Our menu has changed a lot over the years and is still changing. Our meals which started out mostly aimed at one of the more popular slimming groups has now extended to those looking at a diet which uses calorific values and those looking for meals featuring higher protein levels such as those who are active in sports/fitness. If you know me you will no doubt know how I often mention calorie deficit and how this way is for me the most likely to work long term. I wont go into all that right now but will absolutely go into that some time soon in the future and hopefully you will then understand why I feel that way is the best. Its something I tell my C25K members all the time.

Anyway this is really a welcome message to you all but as time goes by I will be posting helpful tips and advice and may even ask for help with new ideas and tasters for meals. In the meantime if you have any questions then do get in touch and we will do our very best to help you.
